1. I/You just put my
website live, why isn't my site on any search engines?
There are over 25 Billion web sites on the Internet and
thousands of new ones every day. Your website may
be found by some search engines on its own, but that could
take months. If you want a better chance of getting
your website found on the search engines, we suggest you
have your website professional promoted to the search
engines and directories.
2. Can you "guarantee"
top ranking on the Search Engines?
Guaranteeing a top ranking in the search engines is impossible.
No one can guarantee top search engine placement because
there is a 3rd party who has all of the control of the search
engines.
3. How will clients find my
web site?
You do not want to rely solely on the search engines
for getting traffic to your site. The search engines can
take weeks even months to list your site unless you are
willing to pay for submission.
Make sure that your web site address is on all of your
current marketing tools, such as your brochures, newsletters,
business cards, e-mail correspondence, business letterhead,
and other media advertising such as newspaper or radio.
4. You promoted my website,
why can't I find my listing?
It takes from one week to up to 6 months to get listed,
depending on engine. Remember, you are competing
with thousands and thousands of websites and we have no
control over how fast search engines update their databases.
You can get faster results by considering a Pay Per Click
program.
5. Why is a duplicate website such a bad idea?
The major search engines are constantly trying to improve the quality of their search engine results in an effort to provide the best quality content for users. When duplicate content is indexed by search engine spiders, valuable time and processing power is wasted. As a result, search engines have blocked sites that used duplicate content from their database, ultimately favouring the site that either had the content first, or I believe, the one site that has the greater online history. In addition, the major search engines have a bad taste after dealing with so much duplicate content created by spammers over the past several years. As a result, posting a duplicate website is an offense that can quite literally blacklist a domain; there are few things the search engine properties dislike more than being gamed by spammers.

1. Who owns the website
and creative material once the site is complete?
Once you have made final payment, it belongs to you,
and we no longer own any entitlement to it.
2. Do you accept credit
cards?
We only
accept cash, cheque or money orders. You can pay your invoice with credit card via PayPal only.
3. How long does it take
to complete a website?
That really depends. Depends on how many pages,
if special programming or databases are needed, how fast
you supply the content and graphics to us, sending us
a deposit in a timely manner and our workload schedule.
We try to be very flexible to our clients, but we operate
on a first come, first serve basis. Most cases,
it only takes a few weeks to a couple months for the finished
product.
4. Can I update my own
website?
Yes, but you will need to invest in Web publishing software
and you will need to learn how to use it. You will also
need to learn how to transfer files to and from the Web.
However, without any background in Web development, this
process is not as easy as it may sound.
Please note, we do not offer training or support on software.
Though, we can assist you on how to get started and make
recommendations on suitable software.
You may also consider installing a content management software on your website for those who do not wish to learn all the complicated coding. Read more here.
5. How much does a website
cost?
That also depends. We are not like other design
companies that charge you per page or a package price....every
page and website is different in size, functionality and
graphics.
We do charge by the hour. It is difficult to give
you an accurate price as every website is different.
It is like building a house: do you want 1000 sq.
ft or 3000 sq. ft? Do you want carpet or hardwood
floors? A regular bath tub or a jacuzzi tub?
See...it really depends on what you want or need.
Please fill out our online quote form and give
us as much detail as possible about your website project,
what you'd like to accomplish, what is needed and we will
send you a free estimate -- no obligations.
A rough idea is to estimate about $100 - $200 per page.
